The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for Vernon Edward Hobbs at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:30PM, Committal Shelter B.
Mr. Hobbs was born on October 5, 1949 and died on July 15, 2020 at the age of 70. He was a US Navy Veteran who served from 1975 until 1981. During his Service he was a Machinists Mate on the USS James Monroe, a ballistic missile submarine.
1:45PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center
2:00PM - Mission Briefing
2:15PM - Depart for Committal Shelter B in order to form Flag Line
Dave "EZ" McCabe will serve as Ride Captain.
Kathy "Rat" Goldstein will bring Flags.
At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering MUST be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing MUST be maintained.
