The Patriot Guard Riders are invited to stand in honor of Arturo "Art" Martinez. US Air Force, for his interment on Thursday, May 29th, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO. 80235.
Arturo F Martinez of Northglenn, Colorado passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at Davis Hospice center in Cheyenne Wyoming. Art was born April 7, 1941, in Las Animas, Colorado where he spent his childhood and graduated from Bent County High School in 1960.
He joined the US Air Force in 1961 where he met the love of his life Judy, they were married in 1963 and had three children. After leaving the Air Force he went to work for IBM and retired after 25 years of service. Art enjoyed coaching soccer, fishing, woodworking, and filming all of his kid’s sporting events throughout the years. Art really loved all of the Colorado professional sports teams, Broncos, Rockies, and Nuggets. He spent 15 years working for the Rockies and loved every minute of it!
