The Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand a Flag Line during the Wreaths Across America Ceremony on Saturday, 17-Dec, 9:00AM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd., Colorado Springs.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
There will be a walk through rehearsal at 8:00AM for all supporting the ceremony.

The Young Marines will be presenting and retiring the colors. The PGR will be supporting them and setting/retiring our flag line in conjunction with them. Some Young Marines may be standing the Flag Line with us.
'Can Do Bob' Aholt will serve as Ride Captain.
All SoCo RC's are asked to bring Flags or get them to Jim before the ceremony.
I'm not sure if I can make the one. have been running an up//down temp for the last 2 or 3 days. Good news is that it's not covid according to home test kits... hoping for a miraculous recovery ,,, if I do then I'm searching for a nice pair of 'KILT-PANTS"

Unfortunately I cannot make the event at PPNC this year. However, I will be participating at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in Louisville, KY where I will be for the next week or so.
I will attend this mission and will bring flags.
