Since it's been a couple of years since I RC'd a PGR mission I have asked Rich Blackaby to assist me on this one. Note that the Bourgault family is having a larger service at Swan-Law at 3pm that afternoon. We are not planning to do a flagline at that event.
To the Bourgault Family and Friends,
I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace along side his wife. I pray that their family and friends grieve in peace. I thank them for their service to our country.
Prayers going up for the families and friends of TSG Bertrand R. "Frenchie" Bourgault. May he Rest In Honored Peace along with his wife.
Army Air Corps means he's doubly a hero.
OOPS...Error Correction ... while Frenchie's initial enlistment was correctly stated as "UNITED STATES ARMY AIR CORPS", He actually retired from the "UNITED STATES AIR FORCE" after that brand new military branch was formed in 1947. My apologies (but not too much of an apology) ... Frenchie was one of those fabled "BROWN-SHOE NCOs" who engendered respect and struck fear into the hearts of generations of new "USAF Virgins".
.... Jack, humbled and proud to be the PGR Ride Captain for my friend
I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Bertrand Bourgault, USAAC WWII, and USAF (ret) Korean War Veteran. During this most difficult time, I pray you peace. I will forever be grateful for his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. Rest easy now, Sir…those you have left behind to carry on without you have the watch.
