The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for Robert Anson "Bob" Thiede, Jr., at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236 on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at, 10:15AM, Committal Shelter C. Mr. Thiede was born on July 14, 1946 and died on December 10, 2020 at the age of 74. He was a US Navy and Vietnam Veteran. He served on the USS Independence with Fighter Squadron VF-84 (Jolly Rogers). In 2012 he retired from Law Enforcement after 45 years of Service. During his career he served as Patrol Officer, Detective, Federal Agent, Police Chief, County Sheriff and State Investigator. His Law Enforcement career began in 1967 with the Denver Police Department. 9:30AM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center 9:45AM - Mission Briefing 10:00AM - Depart for Committal Shelter C in order to form Flag Line

At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering must be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing should be maintained.
