14 APR - Service for the Unclaimed Remains of 7 Veterans - Fort Logan

Vietnam Veterans of America, Post 1071, took on an extremely honorable challenge, a number of years ago. Their goal was to identify and catalog the remains that were unclaimed in a number of locations throughout the Metro area and to determine which were Veterans who had earned Military Honors. This service, for 7 unclaimed heroes, includes Veterans who died in the 1950s. This will be the fifth Service and the number of unclaimed remains identified by VVA, Post 1071, now totals 130. The Colorado Patriot Guard has been invited to stand in honor for this Service at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236 on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 1:30PM, Committal Shelter A. (Shelter A Services are generally held on the hour. This is a unique circumstance). 12:45PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center 1:00PM - Mission Briefing 1:15PM - Depart for Shelter A in order to form Flag Line Dave "EZ" McCabe will serve as Captain.
