The WallofRemembrance.org will be bringing the Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) Wall of Remembrance to Scheels, 4755 Ronald Reagan Blvd. Johnstown, 80534 from November 5th through November 9th before going to the Old Colorado Brewing Company, 1st Street and Cleveland Avenue, Wellington, 80549 from November 10th to November 14th. This Wall was created in order to pay tribute to the losses from the GWOT and the Victims of 9/11. The Wall has two sides, one being a timeline of events from the bombings in Beirut to present and the other including the names of the Fallen and Victims of 9/11 from 1983 to present. Visitors will be able to look up names and get etchings of the names as a remembrance of their loved ones.
The Patriot Guard Riders, as well as many Veterans, Families, Gold Star Families, Blue Star Families and Active Duty Military have been invited to this event.
One of the goals is to share information, bring awareness and educate people on the history of this time in our Nation and pay tribute to the Fallen and their families.
There will be an escort from the Wyoming State line to Johnstown and then from Scheels to Wellington. Escort details will be posted when they become available.
This Tribute Wall will be open to the public 24 hours each day. Volunteers will be needed to provide "Security" at all times. I will soon post the time slots that will needed to be covered, for any members who might be available.
