The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand for Patrick Alan Vaughn, US Army Veteran, who passed away at the age of 54 on September 24, 2024. He traveled the world with the military, purposefully jumped out of fully operational military air vehicles as a member of Army Airborne and Air Assault, and was awarded at least 21 commendations. He was stationed at Ft Hood, TX, Ft Bragg, NC, Ft Gordon, GA and in Korea and Germany. At 6'4" & 250 ibs, he conquered Leukemia, a coma, a bone marrow transplant, and the loss of his legs, only to finally lose his heroic and brave fight with brain cancer. He is survived by his wife, Julie, five children and one stepson.
His service will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 12 Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood CO, 80215
at Shelter C.
