Because of Wreaths Across America also happening on December 14, this Memorial Service has been moved to December 07, 2024.
The Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in these Memorial Services. In 2006, "Crazy Bob" Zimmerman, one of our Ride Captains back then, helped identify the problem that many of the Veterans interred at Ft. Logan were not receiving Military Honors. He worked with the All Veterans Honor Guard and these Memorial Services began. Back then, these services were every month, and were for all the Veterans from the previous month that did not receive Military Honors. The number of Veterans being interred has since dropped so much that this mission has become bi-monthly, covering the previous two months. Below are the next dates of these services, which take place on the second Saturday of the months, except for the December 2024 Memorial. which will be on December 07.
