Memorial Services take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery,
3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver CO, 80236 at 11:00AM at Shelter A.
The Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in these Memorial Services. In 2006, "Crazy Bob" Zimmerman, one of our Ride Captains back then, helped identify the problem that many of the Veterans interred at Ft. Logan were not receiving Military Honors. He worked with the All Veterans Honor Guard and these Memorial Services began. Back then, these services were every month, and were for all the Veterans from the previous month that did not receive Military Honors. The number of Veterans being interred has since dropped so much that this mission has become bi-monthly, covering the previous two months.
