I just cancelled the Bi-Monthly Military Honors Service scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2020 due to recently modified Coronavirus attendee limitations. At his point, I don't know what impact these modified restrictions will have on the daily Interment Services. The Fort Logan Interment calendar is relatively full for at least the next couple of weeks. I will let you all know what impact this will have on our ability to stand in honor at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Thanks for the update Jim. I’m getting a little bit sick and tired of this flu BS, but I don’t get to make the rules. I will toe the line as needed however.
Dave, I share your frustration. Thanks for hanging in.
I'm with you, Dave and echo your sentiments. Am also disappointed.
Following the Service, today, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, we know a bit more about the most recent restrictions. The number of family and friends allowed at an Interment Service is now five.
We will likely see some Services postponed until these restrictions are lifted. At today's Service, with the Marine Corps, All Veterans Honor Guard, Patriot Guard, Honor Bell, Funeral Home Personnel and Cemetery Staff, there were twenty additional attendees there to honor the Veteran and to Support the family.
Jim
Many of them have large families, in my opinion, this restriction is silly and (pardon my french) stupid at best.
