National PGR just published a "new" political neutrality policy. I believe this is already pretty much well known by all members in Colorado, but they asked it to be shared. Please review and let me know if there are any questions.
The Patriot Guard Riders, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. As such, it is imperative that we remain politically neutral in all areas. Failure to do so could jeopardize our IRS tax exempt status. The National Board of Directors has established the following guidelines:
There should be no political messages on social media sites and webpages that are managed and/or administered by or which represent the Patriot Guard Riders.
Additionally, members are requested to not wear or display political patches, clothing, headgear, etc. to Patriot Guard missions, nor to wear Patriot Guard gear to political events.
It is requested that you use discretion while displaying PGR logos in conjunction with political logos on your personal vehicles.
