This past Wednesday I was honored to join about a dozen members of the Colorado PGR, in Grand Junction, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. There were three Interment Services on that day. This group participates in nearly every Interment Service at this Cemetery. Historically, the Western PGR team stands in honor at about 200 Services, annually. This year, there have been 170 Services through nine months and, during that period, operations were shut down for three months due to Coronavirus restrictions. There will be about 250 Services during 2020, even with the three month "stand down".
While there, I had the opportunity to meet the Cemetery Administrator and Assistant Administrator. They both had high praise for the support that is provided by Assistant State Captain, Art Edwards, and his dedicated team.
Sincere thanks to the Western Colorado members. This was the first time that I had the opportunity to meet most of them. They were very helpful and welcoming. We should all be proud of how the Colorado PGR is represented out West.

Thank you Western Colorado PGR Team!!!
Thank you Jim for going to, participating in, and reporting on the activities of our dedicated western Colorado PGR patriots. It is important that each of us participating in PGR missions understand, appreciate, and acknowledge the work of our fellow PGR members throughout Colorado and the USA in honoring our fallen veterans. As our State Captain, your dedication to our veterans and to the Colorado PGR brings honor on your self and on all of us in the PGR.
Thanks for the update Jim. Sounds like a great reason for a road trip. FANTASTIC job Grand Junction PGR.
That's Great, Jim. You should be proud of them.
