Earlier, today, Rick Glitz joined the Leadership team in Southern Colorado as our newest Ride Captain. As he mentions in his bio, he joins his wife Marie, as an RC. This is historic for the Colorado PGR as they become our first wife and husband RC team. Welcome aboard, congratulations and thanks for taking on this responsibility.

BIO:
A retired US Air Force Colonel and Vietnam Era veteran, Rick Glitz flew fighters on active duty, including the F-111, A-7, F-16, and the F-117 Stealth Fighter when it was still highly classified. Later, as a member of the Air Force Reserve, Rick served on the Secretary of Defense's staff and was an engineer in the Air Force Research Laboratory. He proudly wore Air Force blue for 34 years.
In civilian life, Rick was a Captain for Southwest Airlines, an engineer with Northrop-Grumman, and a GS-15 on the staff of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In 2020 he retired from his final position as Director of Engineering at the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center.
In addition to PGR (first in New Mexico and now Colorado), Rick participates with the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association and the Sons of the American Revolution. He enjoys competitive shooting, riding his Harley Ultra Limited, camping, and is just trying to get started with backyard astronomy.
Rick has been married to Marie more than 44 years, and is very proud of her also being a PGR Ride Captain.
Thank you Rick for stepping up.
Congratulations Rick!
