Received the following email this morning from Jeff 'JayDub' Goodiel, National VP of Captains for the Patriot Guard Riders.
"It is my pleasure to announce to you that the Four Corners Region has a new Regional Captain. With a unanimous decision Kathy ‘Rat’ Goldstein former State Captain from Colorado has been elected by the National Board of Directors as your new RGC.
Regional Captains serve as non-voting members to submit nominations for elections of corporate Officers. They are the designated representatives of the Corporation, and supervise the State Captains in their respective regions in the conduct of the corporate mission. Regional Captains report directly to the Vice-President of Captains, and are appointed by a vote of the Board of Directors. Regional Captains are not ex-officio members of the Board of Directors, and are not subject to term limits imposed on corporate officers."
We all, of course, know Rat for her many years of dedicated service to the Colorado PGR, serving 2 separate stints as Colorado State Captain, as well as being a 10 year Ride Captain, and an Assistant State Captain. She has been with the PGR since 2007, and additionally has worked to send care packages to deployed troops since 1967. Rat recently retired from a long career as a nurse and Owner/Practice Administrator of Lakehurst Medical Center. Additionally, she has volunteered for 17 years with the Denver area PTSD unit.
Please join me in thanking Rat for her past and future dedication to the PGR. The 4-Corners Regional Captain oversees Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona. She replaces Dave Hall, who held the position for over a decade but has moved out of the region.

Congratulations! I know we will see you more frequently than Dave Hall.
