The Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to Ride and Stand in Honor for Thomas M. Montoya, US Navy and Vietnam Veteran, for his "Last Ride" and Burial on Friday, 8-July. This mission will consist of 2 parts.
Part 1: Escort, Pueblo to PPNC. PGR will be leading this escort/procession.
11:00AM Stage, Doubletree Hotel, 1775 E Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906
11:10AM Safety Brief and KSU to Pueblo
11:45AM Arrive at Family Home (RC will have address)
12:00PM Briefing with all riders/vehicles in procession
12:15PM KSU for PPNC

Part 2: Direct Burial, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd. Colorado Springs, CO
This will be a graveside Flagline, not at the Committal Shelter. Military Honors have already been rendered at a prior service.
1:00PM Stage, PPNC, SE of Admin Building
1:15PM Relocate to Grave Site and await Procession.
Gary 'Tin Man' Wetzel will serve as Ride Captain for both portions.
Rich 'Honor Man' Blackaby will bring Flags and coordinate our portion w/ PPNC staff while escort is in route.

Sincere appreciation for the US Navy and Vietnam Service of Thomas Montoya. The loss of someone who served and sacrificed is tragic and all Patriotic Americans are forever in their debt. Thankful for the sacrifices made by their families, as well. These Heroes gave up so much in order to preserve our freedoms and to ensure our safety and security. They have earned our recognition and respect. They will be greatly missed, but, will never be forgotten. May their family and friends achieve peace along with our enduring gratitude.
May Thomas know our gratitude and respect for his service and may his family feel our thoughts and prayers with them in their time of grief.
