The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for James Warren Oakes at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 2:15PM, Committal Shelter C.
Mr. Oakes was born on September 13, 1942 and died on September 23, 2020 at the age of 78. He Retired from the US Army as a Command Sergeant Major after having served from 1961 until 1989. He served in Vietnam from 1969 until 1970.
1:30PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center
1:45PM - Mission Briefing
2:00PM - Depart for Committal Shelter C in order to form Flag Line

I will be honored to attend and will bring Flags.
At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering MUST be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing MUST be maintained.
