Vietnam Veterans of America, Post 1071, took on an extremely honorable challenge, a number of years ago. Their goal was to identify and catalog the remains that were unclaimed in a number of locations throughout the Metro area and to determine which were Veterans who had earned Military Honors. This service, for 19 unclaimed heroes, includes a Veteran who served in WWI. This will be the fourth Memorial Service and the number of unclaimed remains identified by VVA, Post 1071, now totals 120.
The Patriot Guard has been invited to stand in honor for this Memorial Service at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 South Quebec Street, Denver, 80247 on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:00AM. The Service will take place in a recently renovated Chapel on the Fairmount Cemetery grounds. 9:00AM - Stage at the Fairmount Administrative Office Parking lot, just inside the Quebec Street entrance 9:15AM - Mission Briefing 9:30AM - Form Flag Line at the entrance to the Chapel Dave "EZ" McCabe will serve as Ride Captain.
