The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for Lawrence Harold Herzig at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 2:30PM, Committal Shelter B. Mr. Herzig was born on May 28, 1936 and died on August 14, 2020 at the age of 84. He retired from the US Army in 1984 after 26 years of Service. He served two tours in Vietnam and flew Hueys and Cobras. He was the recipient of a Bronze Star, a Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross. 1:45PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center 2:00PM - Mission Briefing 2:15PM - Depart for Committal Shelter B in order to form Flag Line

At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering MUST be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing MUST be maintained.
