The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for Steve Gonzales Velasquez at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 10:15AM, Committal Shelter C.
Mr. Velasquez was born on September 19, 1932 and died at the age of 88. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving from 1953 until 1955, followed by six years as a Reservist.
9:30AM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center
9:45AM - Mission Briefing
10:00AM - Depart for Committal Shelter C in order to form Flag Line
Kathy "Rat" Goldstein will serve as Ride Captain and will bring Flags.
At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering must be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing should be maintained.
