The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Memorial Service for Commerce City Police Detective, Curt Michael Holland at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, 80022. This Service will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 12:45PM.
Detective Holland was born on August 13, 1983 and died, while on Duty, as the result of a multiple vehicle crash on October 16, 2020. He was 37 years of age. Detective Holland joined the Commerce City Police Department on June 27, 2016. He leaves behind a wife and two young children.
Dave "EZ" McCabe will serve as Captain.
I will be honored to attend and will bring Flags.
We will be staging at 10:30AM with a briefing at 10:45AM at the Bass Pro Shops, 7970 Northfield Blvd., Denver, 80238. Please park in the Southern most lot, directly East of the Tracker Boat Center. Plan to arrive on time as we will be distributing parking permits that will be required to gain entry to the Sports Park.
The facilities at Dick's Sporting Goods Park will be provided for this Memorial Service at no cost to the Family or Community so that a large number of attendees will be able to celebrate the life and service of Detective Holland, while meeting Coronavirus distancing guidelines for all who attend.
Security will be very tight. No weapons (guns or knives) will be allowed on site. Facial Coverings will be required at all times, from the time you exit your vehicle until the time you return to your vehicle.

I am honored to be volunteering with the Colorado Fallen Foundation today during the service supporting his family, so will not be able to join my fellow Patriot Guards in the flag line.
