The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for Wayne Albert Thomas at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:15AM, Committal Shelter C.
Mr. Thomas was born on September 24, 1947 and died on February 28, 2021 at the age of 73. He served from 1967 until 1969 and was a US Army and Vietnam Veteran. He was an Armor Intel Specialist who was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He then worked for twenty years at Rocky Flats Weapons Development for the Department of Defense.
10:30AM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center 10:45AM - Mission Briefing
11:00AM - Depart for Committal Shelter C in order to form Flag Line
Ken "Nick" Nicholas will serve as Ride Captain and will bring Flags.
At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering must be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing should be maintained.
