The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Dignified Transfer for Lt. Col. Aaron Michael Frey. Lt. Col. Frey will be arriving at Denver International Airport with an ETA of 1:52PM on Monday, July 19, 2021.
Lt. Col. Aaron Frey was born on July 1, 1979 and died on July 5, 2021 at the age of 42. He served in the US Marine Corps for 16 years and the Air Force Reserves for a year. He was assigned to the Unit 370 Flight Test Squadron.
The procession from DIA will have a destination of the Drinkwine Family Mortuary, 999 West Littleton Blvd., Littleton, 80120.
For those who plan to ride in the procession, before you head to the airport, please check the schedule for American Airlines Flight 897 from Los Angeles. The Funeral and support vehicles will be exiting from Gate 5. You should be outside of Gate 5 by 2:00PM. To reach Gate 5, take the exit that would access the Phillips 66 Station or the Final Approach Waiting Facility, but, continue East on East 75th Avenue. As the road curves to the North, it becomes Harry B. Combs Parkway. Turn right on East 80th Avenue and park on the South side of the road. Motorcycles and Trikes will be falling in at the end of the procession. There will be no professional escort providing traffic control, therefore, all traffic laws must be followed
We will also have a Flag Line, in place, when Lt. Col. Frey arrives at Drinkwine Mortuary.
