Onken, USAF, Retired, for his service and interment on Friday, 18-Nov, 10:00AM at Peterson SFB Chapel, 455 Vincent St, Colorado Springs, CO 80914, followed by his Interment at 1:00PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd., Colorado Springs, CO.

Larry 'Da Boots' Koenig will serve as Ride Captain for both parts.
Flags will be provided.
Peterson SFB is on a delayed reporting, however, I've received no word that the Funeral service has been delayed. Since the PPNC ceremony is at a fixed time, I have to assume the chapel service will not change. If I hear differently, I will update asap.
I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of SMSgt Mark H. Onken, USAF (ret) Veteran. During this most difficult time, I pray you peace. I will forever be grateful for his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. Rest easy now, Airman…those you have left behind to carry on without you have the watch.

Sincere appreciation for the US Air Force Career of Senior Master Sergeant Mark Onken. The loss of someone who served and sacrificed is tragic and all Patriotic Americans are forever in their debt. Thankful for the sacrifices made by their families, as well. These Heroes gave up so much in order to preserve our freedoms and to ensure our safety and security. They have earned our recognition and respect. They will be greatly missed, but, will never be forgotten. May their family and friends achieve peace along with our enduring gratitude.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories console you and bring you peace and comfort.
May Mark know our respect and gratitude for his service and may his family feel the thoughts and prayers we offer them at the loss of their hero.
