The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at both the Funeral and Interment Services for Raymond Charles Roy on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00AM at the Romero Family Funeral Home, 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, 80211.
10:00AM - Stage at the Romero Family Funeral Home
10:15AM - Mission Briefing
10:30AM - Form Flag Line
The Interment Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., at 1:00PM, Committal Shelter A.
12:15PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center
12:30PM - Mission Briefing
12:45PM - Form Flag Line at Committal Shelter A
Ken "Nick" Nicholas will serve as Ride Captain at both the Funeral Home and the Cemetery. Nick will also provide Flags.
At both the Funeral Home and while staged and briefed at Fort Logan, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. For the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, once you leave your vehicle until you return to your vehicle, a facial covering MUST be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing must be maintained.
Attendance will be limited to the first ten members who post their intentions on our website.
When you post, please indicate if you plan to attend the Funeral Service, the Interment Service or both.
Mr. Roy was homeless (at 84, how very sad) and has no known family. Prior to the Coronavirus pandemic, we would have made an attempt to get as many attendees as possible, but, not under the current environment. Please keep this information off social media.
