The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at both the Funeral and Interment Services for Harry L. Chaney, Jr. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
Mr. Chaney died at the age of 100. He served with the US Army 249th Engineer Combat Battalion as an automotive mechanic during WWII and was stationed in Iceland for two years. He earned the European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Campaign Ribbon, two Overseas Service Bars and the Good Conduct Medal.
The Funeral Service is scheduled for Noon at Saint Paul's Community Church, 8001 West 23rd Avenue, Lakewood, 80214.

Sincere appreciation for the US Army and WWII Service of Harry Chaney, Jr. The loss of someone who served and sacrificed is tragic and all Patriotic Americans are forever in their debt. Thankful for the sacrifices made by their families, as well. These Heroes gave up so much in order to preserve our freedoms and to ensure our safety and security. They have earned our recognition and respect. They will be greatly missed, but, will never be forgotten. May their family and friends achieve peace along with our enduring gratitude.
