The Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the director to stand in honor for A2C Robert LeRoy Smith, USAF, Vietnam Era Veteran, who will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd., Colorado Springs, CO on Wednesday, June 16th at 10:00AM. A2C Smith has no family which could be located, so we will stand for this brother. He served from 1956 to 1967.
There will be a large community turnout for this service. Therefore, we will stage early and directly at the Honor Guard building. Bikes, please stage on the service road behind the Honor Guard Building, Vehicles in the circle by the pump shack. Please DO NOT park in the Honor Guard lot or on the narrow road leading to the Honor Guard building.
8:45AM Stage, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, Honor Guard Building. Please show up at stage time to avoid traffic issues in the Cemetery.

I wish to send my sincere condolences and prayers to the family wherever they may be and friends of A2C Robert Leroy Smith a US Air Force Hero. I am grateful for the 11 years of service that was provided us, in the past, so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. Rest in peace veteran. I will be honored to stand for him.
