The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to Stand in Honor for Lt. Col. Richard Shutack, US Air Force, Retired; USAFA Class of 1963, for his graveside services on Friday, 15 Sept, 11:00AM at the US Air Force Academy Cemetery, 3024 Parade Loop, Air Force Academy, CO.
Lt. Col Shutack was a Vietnam Era Veteran, and piloted B-52's.
There will be a full military Honor Guard with burial and a scheduled fly over.
9:45 AM Stage - USAFA Pass and Registration Center, Airfield Dr., outside of South gate entrance to AFA
10:00AM Briefing
10:15AM - Proceed as a group to USAFA Cemetery
Riders: Helmet, eye protection, full finger gloves, long sleeves, pants, and over the ankle boots are required to ride on the Academy.
All: ID will be checked, vehicles subject to search. Have registration and insurance available if requested by security. No Weapons, concealed or otherwise.
'Damnit Jim' Balcerovich will serve as Ride Captain and will bring Flags.

Sincere appreciation for the US Air Force Service of Lieutenant Colonel Richard Shutack. The loss of someone who served and sacrificed is tragic and all Patriotic Americans are forever in their debt. Thankful for the sacrifices made by their families, as well. These Heroes gave up so much in order to preserve our freedoms and to ensure our safety and security. They have earned our recognition and respect. They will be greatly missed, but, will never be forgotten. May their family and friends achieve peace along with our enduring gratitude.
