Sincere appreciation for the US Air Force Career of Joseph J. Duch, Jr. The loss of someone who served and sacrificed is tragic and all Patriotic Americans are forever in their debt. Thankful for the sacrifices made by their families, as well. These Heroes gave up so much in order to preserve our freedoms and to ensure our safety and security. They have earned our recognition and respect. They will be greatly missed, but, will never be forgotten. May their family and friends achieve peace along with our enduring gratitude.

A little bit more about SSgt Duch and his military service. He actually passed in January 1998 in Antonio, Texas. He was in the Army from Feb 1943 through 1951. He served in WWII, North Africa, and European theaters. Was a POW from Feb 1944 till Apr 1945. Served in Korea from 1950-1951. He then entered the US Air Force in 1954 and retired in 1966.
