The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for General Edward Murphy Markham, III at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 1:30PM, Committal Shelter B.
Brigadier General Markham was born on June 12, 1930 and died on April 25, 2021 at the age of 90. He graduated from the West Point Military Academy in 1951 and served from 1951 until 1975. His father and grandfather were also West Point graduates (1928 and 1899) and both achieved the rank of General during their Military careers.

1:15PM - Depart for Committal Shelter B in order to form Flag Line
Dave "EZ" McCabe will serve as Ride Captain and will bring Flags.
At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering must be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing should be maintained.
