"The EPC Sheriff's Office will hold a flag raising ceremony on Friday, August, 12, 2022, starting at 9am, in front of the Office of the Sheriff located at 27 East Vermijo Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs. This flag will be used to drape the coffin of fallen Dep. Andrew Peery at his upcoming funeral service. Funeral details will be announced soon. Media and our neighbors are invited to attend. The ceremony should last approximately 30 minutes. FYI, Vermijo Avenue will be blocked between Tejon Street and Cascade Avenue to facilitate this event between 7am and 10am."
