These Military Honors Services are now taking place on a bi-monthly basis, on the second Saturday of the even numbered months. Because, over the past four to five months, many Interment Services were held without Military Honors, there will be a greater number of honorees at the next few bi-monthly Services.
Since 2006, the Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Military Honors Services that take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver. These services are scheduled for 11:00AM, at Committal Shelter A and are done to honor all the Veterans interred during the previous two months who did not receive Military Honors.
The dates for the balance of 2020 will be:
10 OCTOBER
12 DECEMBER
Staging will be at the Visitors Center, just inside the main gate.

At Fort Logan, during Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. During the Service at the Committal Shelter, while standing in the Flag Line, a facial covering MUST be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing MUST be maintained.
