The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Interment Service for Richard Maxfield Shannon, Jr. and Judith Dare Matlock-Shannon at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at 2:15PM, Committal Shelter C.
Mr. Shannon was born on July 24, 1952 and died on June 2, 2020 at the age of 67. His wife, Judith D. Matlock-Shannon was born on April 29, 1966 and died on March 4, 2020 at the age of 53. They were both US Navy Veterans.
1:30PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center
1:45PM - Mission Briefing
2:00PM - Depart for Committal Shelter C in order to form Flag Line
Ken "Nick" Nicholas will serve as Ride Captain. I will be honored to attend and will bring Flags.
At Fort Logan, from Staging until departure for the Committal Shelter, please have a facial covering around your neck so that it may be put in place if the six foot spacing buffer is encroached. For the Interment Service at the Committal Shelter, once you leave your vehicle until you return to your vehicle, a facial covering MUST be in place (over nose and mouth) and six foot spacing MUST be maintained.
